Absolutely awesome! I love the line quality. Some of the panels are perfectly expressive: the second-to-last panel with the dog that everyone has mentioned, but also the panel where he has a box over his head. Great eyes in that one.

The only panel I don't love, perhaps, is the last one. I like the drawing of the dog, but as an ending it seemed a little easy or pat. Expected. Not that I can think of an alternative ending. Maybe even if the boy's eyes were closed or his arm was crossing over his eyes so he wasn't immediately aware that he wasn't doomed? It just seems that his awareness that he's not, in fact, doomed, comes too quickly and too easily. All the danger leaves the world, and I want this character to still have a sense of being doomed, I guess. A little more open-ended.

But I really loved it! Thanks!

Jeff
