FONTS

Post by Steven » Fri Mar 09, 2007 7:08 pm

Hi, I'm not one for writing the words in my comics by hand. I was wondering how many people insert their words on the computer. If you're one to do this, what font do you use?

I handwrite my text, but if you're looking for something to use, Blambot offers free comic fonts. Be sure to read their guidelines.

I know some artists have their own fonts made for their comics. If ya got any graphic design friends, that's another option.

Hope this helps!

I needed a font that looked comicky but also had lower-case letters (I write a lot of muttering), so I actually went and purchased one from www.comicbookfonts.com. They can be a bit pricey, but sometimes their specials are pretty good, and they have some awesome fonts.

I use 'Astronauts in Trouble' for Persona Animus.

I have many Blambot fonts too.
