Who's going? I'm going to be there. Might even have a booth and everything!

I've sent in my application. I'm still a bit worried about this whole "seller's permit" business, but plans are in the works regardless.

I haven't heard a thing either. And they've cashed my check. So I hope I'm going to be there...

Now just to get everything done in time!

I just got a seller's permit/state tax ID thing/whatever... and OMG, so much SPAM!!! The second you do anything that identifies yourself as anything resembling a small business, you get put on some list of DOOM where every credit card merchant on earth starts calling you and sending you pamphlets.

Really? I haven't been hit with that yet. All I got was an ENORMOUS envelope from the BOE. It was big. It was yellow. It was terrifying.

Maybe it's a Texas thing. I had to get "official paperwork" in order to sell in the Komik Market at Akon this year (this is the first time they've REQUIRED a state tax ID).

I live in Berkeley, so for sure -- hell, I drove up from Los Angeles just for it. I might do what I've done in previous years, which is print out a bigger version of my Flight board avatar and stick it on the other side of my ID thing. :D

Oh yes... I like free. Hopefully I will have free things too. But not buttons... those are just too cool :)

I'm going, and I have my table and tax forms all taken care of.

The permit is really no big deal, and most conventions require them, so it's good to get used to them. I have to say I've had no spam as a result, but that sounds awful.

I'll be at Booth 282. Anyone else know their booth number?

I've been thinking about volunteering the day of, actually, we'll see how that goes. But I'm definitely going to say hi to Flight forum (and Flight book, of course) people. 8)
