Autobiographical web comics

Are there any out there? I haven't found any yet, theres gotta be atleast one.

hmm, i believe kean does do this type of form in his webcomics, and he's one of the few people that do it well enough to leave a lasting impression on ones mind.


Not really sure though, kean would be the best one to answer that.

I don't follow the autobio webcomics scene all that closely any more since I quit drawing them myself (my old archives are here), but back in the day, the ones I did follow online were:

Drew Weing's Journal Comic
Les McClaine's Life with Leslie
Neil B's comics (still updating!)

...everyone's sort of moved on to bigger and better things these days, but you get the idea. These three guys were the cream of the crop, in my opinion.

Raina Telgemeier has Smile. I'm sure there are others, though. I just can't remember where to find them. I've thought about doing one myself, but I just have too many other things to do and anyways I'm not sure my life is interesting enough for anyone to want to read a comic about it.

Two off the top of my head are James Kochalka's American Elf and Jeffrey Rowland's Overcompensating (based loosely on his real life).
