Free online photogalleries?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows of Free sites that provide u with the service. where one can put up his pictures up on a website for a temporary portfoilo? (besides photobucket.)

I think flickr.com is pretty good.

I was going to suggest flickr as well.


I have some freinds that do it with a plain old photobucket acount as well, but i like flickrs format better.

thanks neil! flikr is pretty good. but i was wondering if there are other alternatives? Like something with film strips or basically where u can view it like the windows picture viewer.

someone told me about coppermine? have u guys heard of it?

Flickr along with Blogger makes a pretty good combo...it takes no time to set up either.

That, or blogger on it's own works fine. Or you could download picasa, it runs with blogger.

As for the windows picture viewer thing, there's none I can really think of.. the closest being yahoo photos, which lets you view your pictures as a slideshow. Hope this helps.

There's also Google webalbums which uses Picasa to upload photos to your photo gallery. It's in the Beta stage right now and so far it's been easy to load photos and to view. But only 250 mb at the moment.
