Merry Christmas!

Post by Joe Shig » Sat Dec 24, 2005 7:27 am

Merry Christmas to everyone out there in Flightland! (If only there were such a place...)

Hope you all get awesome pressies and eat a lot of good food.

In fact, let's list all the presents we got here!

So far I've got a bucket of Smarties (a small bucket, but a bucket nonetheless), and a wicked-cool Intuos airbrush for my tablet! Woo!

wow, I dub this the Christmas of Comics for me. : D

lots of great books that everyone else here has undoubtedly read were presented my way:

Blankets

Scott Pilgrim Vol. 1 and 2

Same Difference and Other Stories

Trailers (by my SCAD prof Mark Kneece and another prof Julie Collins-Rosseu)

The Complete Calvin and Hobbes (best thing ever, I agree with Mac...*snif* so cool, even though I could probably kill a man with just ONE book).

I think that was it for the comics department. Wow, lots of good reading to look forward to before the year is out. (blankets might take a while O_O )

I had just read "Same Difference" this afternoon...kim has awesome dialogue. So natural! :P

Anyhoo, it was those and star wars and batman and money...

great day! Merry Christmas, everybody!

Wow, that definitely is the Christmas of comics Josh! No comics for me, although I am sending a copy of Flight 1 to my brother for Christmas.

I hope everyone's having a wonderful day (well deserved since you're all so nice). I don't have tons of family around so for me it's always the most relaxing day of the year with new books or magazines and nice cooking smells. Definitely a blessing ^_^

Happy Christmas!

I just ordered myself Yotsuba&! #1 (in English) and something by Moebius. Gift certificates are a wonderful thing.

Almost makes up for spending Christmas alone in a foreign (to me, anyways) country...

Merry Christmas, everybody!

Best gift I got: this sweet-awesome-amazing-ketchup-incredible tablet laptop that I'm using to write this right now. Yeah. I named it "Superfly".

Don't give me that look, Joshathan. I can invent new meanings for words if I so choose.

Henceforth, the word "ketchup" will mean something between "superb" and "incredible", on the basis that (using my normal process of mashing two words together to create a new one) "superbdible" sounds really sucky. Likewise "incsupredib".
