Need Conceptual Artist for Short Film

Post by SonOfaRich » Thu Aug 28, 2008 1:42 am

Hi, I'm looking for a talented artist who can do some concept art for our short film thesis project. We are currently in our preproduction phase and plan on going into production in early December.

It's a tragic tale about two people who are the last of their kind. It is based on a Hawaiian legend, which takes place in Kauai, but we will be shooting this in Oahu. The film will be shot on 35mm and the script is 19 pages.

We are several graduate students in our last year at Chapman University who have no drawing skills whatsoever.

Please let me know if you are interested and/or have any questions.

Thanks!

I'd like to be able to help, but i'm spread pretty thin these days. (I'm sure you've looked in some of these places but...) it might be worth looking to;

drawingboard.org
CGTalk.com
Conceptart.org

Maybe imagineFX.com , Sijun.com

They're at least places where you might be able to pick people out.

Thanks Nick.

That helps a lot. Flight is the only one of these forums I go to, because I have friends here.

No worries, I'm sure there's loads more sites out there, it's just i tend to stick to just a couple of forums...i'd never get any work done otherwise ;)

Good luck!
