Thank you everyone. I wasn't too sure about this style since it's different than what I usually do. Glad you like.

I can only reiterate what everyone else has said about your work. Great stuff. I'm reminded of Michael Sowa for some reason. Not for the style, but for the type of ideas.

I like that guy falling/jumping off the bridge a lot. Good design and use of negetive space. And I like that you chose that moment of the action instead of him preparing to jump. It's as if he lept, but his body position reflects that he's no longer in control or even wishes he hadn't. Man, you can ...

Halloween Poster

My department at work has a yearly Halloween poster contest. This is my entry. I'm not real happy with the bottom three figures, but time was quickly becoming a factor so this is what I put forth. http://jimcandraw.com/canjimdraw/uploaded_images/07-02571-2007-Halloween-Poster-Contest-Jim-Anderson-73...

If you are going to use the current A & D my advice would be to stretch the D slightly so that the bottom is lower than the right serif of the A, instead of being lined up with it. And I think yellow would be better too. Contrasts better with the other colors.

What great detail. When I just glanced at the first one I thought the characters were added over a photo of a kitchen (I do need reading glasses by the way). There's a lot of dimensionality to them. And you have a knack for visual storytelling. Very good stuff.

Anytime a fez makes an appearance my day is made! And likewise, I love the wagon. I'd like to believe that the one I had did much the same thing.
