yeah, the colors in the aquarium's really great, and i like how the two people are back-lit, too - but what's going on with the girl's shirt? I hope it covers her properly on the front, at least... It's always weird for me, when I'm out and about, and I see a guy wearing layers of clothing and his g...

I'm not a big fan of Minority Report - For me, it's just another movie... I don't particularly hate it or love it, Tom Cruise bugs me, but I think there were interesting aspects in this film, mainly the vision of the future as a "surveillance society", as coined by Foucault. In the Minority Report f...

yeah, that would be fun to have a bendy Danimal... but I must admit, I'm not into the kinds of stuff on Kid Robot . I think with Danimal, I'm making fun of hipsters, and even patially that style of drawing... but then at the same time, I'm partly serious and I really enjoy it. Myabe Danimal's my inn...

ooh, forgot that i said i was going to make T-shirts - oh well, it's still a good idea. I think it'd be funny to see a guy wearing mary-janes. not that there would be anything wrong with that, it's just be funny - like how the Dude in Big Lebowski wear jellies. (ew!) I'm poking fun at hipsters, but ...

I'm currently reading "Fast Food Nation" by Eric Schlosser and came across a chapter about Disney - a quote from thet chapter... In the mid-1950s Werner von Braun cohosted and helped produce a series of Disney television shows on the space exploration. "Man in Space" and the other Tomorrowland episo...

Neil - the lowest common denominator = little kids?!?! WAAAh! actually, I found that really funny. Yeah, the conflit of the movie is within Peter Parker - but the conflict isn't as universal as the one for X2 that involves everybody... Should I go to school and have a relationship with the person I ...

Jeez - I feel kinda dumb that I don't vehemently *hate* MTV. But I guess since I never saw it until... pretty much this this year, I don't have that feeling of getting stabbed in the back like other people seem to have. Maybe because I never had high expectations. But yeah, I don't really watch anyt...

I just saw the movie.. and am joining in 6 pages late. yeah, Cohetboy, (really funny post, BTW) I had a lot of question marks in my head. Like how Doc Oc stole 2 bags of coins. ...HUH?!? Also, it really bothered me that there wasn't very much conflict within Doc Ock. Eventhough I hated the Green Gob...

I didn't have cable growing up, so I didn't really see MTV/VH1/MTV2 until I came back from college and discovered that my parents got a TV twice as big as what we used to have with... well, basic cable. So i don't have anything to compare MTV to, like you guys. I'm not really "MTV generation" In som...

sure, Meg Ryan's... I don't even remember - the only part of the movie that I saw was where they (my friends) were sitting on top of a piano, dangling their feet - because they keep a tape handy to show peopple. I can't even remember if there were two kids, or did the olsen twins type thing of two k...

I kinda find this character funny - sort of the hipster/scenester type with really greasy hair, wearing nice shoes, trying to find the perfect denim jacket. http://www.semihemisphere.com/Sketchbook/postcard3.jpg http://www.semihemisphere.com/Sketchbook/Danimal1.jpg http://www.semihemisphere.com/Sket...

are you a teacher? (...or maybe you're in 10th grade... which is cool as well) just wondering. Okay, did you read Jon Heder's (ND) profile? he's a 26 y.o BYU student majoring in computer animation with his IDENTICAL TWIN BROTHER Daniel. * Kip (Aaron Ruell) also goes to BYU. * Wow. and Deb (Tina Majo...
