Hey Campy, Thanks for the reply ^_____^ I guess there’s a period of adjustment to be had, and I guess I have to get over the frustration that a tool is now impeding my ability to do my job. I’ll keep with it for a couple of weeks, but I’m still not convinced. I’ve tried sitting at all kinds of angle...

Cintiqs: A period of adjustment?

Hey folks, I've been given a 20wsx cintiq to use at work. I've been using it for just over a day, so it's still pretty early but so far I've spent most of my time biting my lip and cursing quietly under my breath. My previous setup was a 24inch dell screen (now relegated to email...and forum posting...

aha! So you're the guy whose contributed illustrations to the Dofus mags, I recognise a lot of these. Very lively and a lot of fun to look at.

Slightly off topic, i loved the artwork in the first Dofus artbook. I hope there will be something similar for Wakfu ;)

Good stuff Vincentj!

We joke at work sometimes that one of the great ironies of working in the games industry is that you don't have time to play games. I dip in and out of most, though if something truely exceptional comes along I'll find the time. Mass Effect had me totally hooked, to the point where I played through ...

Looking good dan. The second cover works for me. The off kilter text and its scratchiness combined with the powerful red/white palette gives it more visual clout. There’s enough points of interest through changes in font weight and hue that my eye moves around the cover. I also like the treatment of...

Whilst the previous installments required a pinch of salt here and there; you'll be needing whole buckets of the stuff to overcome some of the things seen in this film. The first 20 minutes was pretty bad, then the film resurrected itself towards the middle and then dropped off a cliff for the final...

Here's another counter argument.

All the info and speculation flying around the web is making the waters very muddy indeed. I'm going to have to read all this again when i get home from work.

No worries Kazu ^___^ Sorry to hear your mates feeling abit down, he's doing a brilliant job. It's fantastic to think we live in an age where art can be so easily shared on a global scale. Yeah Nucleus does indeed rock Bluelilly! :D I dare not go back and look at the books. I'm a total book fiend. I...

Thanks!

I just wanted to say a word of thanks to Kazu and the team at Nucleus. It’d been quite some time since I ventured onto the Nucleus website and I was blown away by the Aladins Cave of artwork on offer. Suffice to say I’ve snapped up a number of Kazus’ works among other things. I have to say they look...

Some fabulous advice in this thread. Artists are usually their own worst enemies and it's always reassuring to know that we're not alone in these struggles. I know I have a long way to go, but as i've improved i've found the expectation placed upon me to continually deliver the goods to be somewhat ...

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm afraid i haven't really got much progress to show on the waterfall piece yet. I've had so many silly little things to do that I've put it on the backburner for a little while...but soon! Hmmmm I see what you mean smaragddrache. I haven't such a great deal of exp...
