Akila aka Wisdom aka a Robot

Thought I'd post a sketch of one of my characters which I've named Akila. I read somewhere that it meant wisdom, but depending on where you look it could also mean my robots a touch neurotic...ah well its all good! Anyway I don't really draw this character enough and thought it was time to change th...

That's the stuff! :D Great work. I kinda liked the way that Tau's arms were breaking though what looked like a banner border in the original sketch, thought it gave the piece an even greater dynamic. Just my thoughts. But this is still brilliant! You've done MCOG proud!

I know we're supposed to be talking about the art, but to answer Nofret's question; in the versions of MCOG shown here in England the parrot was called "Coca Petal"....interesting how those kind of things change. Love the banner style layout of this piece.

39 episodes to be precise  Why do I know that?....anyway...really nice work, it has a wonderful playful quality which really captures the essence of the characters. Should be really interesting to see that in colour.

Yeah MCOG withstood the test of time pretty well. Sometimes when you see cartoons from your childhood again, they're completely different from how you thought they were and you're left thinking...I used to watch THAT?I think Bucky O'Hare would fall into that latter bracket if I were to see it now. T...

Nightwish!

I found their album "Wishmaster" last year and I was just blown away. It's basically Gothic Rock I suppose; but with some of the nicest female vocals I think I've heard. It's really powerful stuff (If not somewhat cheesy in places). I'd recommend the "Wishmaster" track from the "Wishmaster" album fi...

My classic has got to be Mysterious Cities of Gold, with the GIANT flying golden condor. I loved the way they'd have overly long conversations about the IMMDEDIATE peril they were in and what they were going to do about it. My second fav has got to be Inspector Gadget. (Assumes old git voice)...they...

I've never had that kind of distortion when i've downsized my work; i guess it depends on what you're using to make the image. I had a stint where i tried paintshop pro8 a Looong while back and i got some pretty weird and wonderful distortions with that. I like you're line work, especially your seco...

Stunning work. I really like that extra whisp of drybrush off to the right, sets the whole thing off quite nicely me thinks. I am in awe of your mighty drybrush skills!

Project "Boundless" Imagery

I don't usually post in forums, just generally float around them! But I stumbled across Flight and I just had to join. Anyway, I thought I'd post a sample of some of the work I'm doing right now. The first image is actually quite large and the little image doesn't really do it justice, so there's a ...
