I liked it! It was fun. I think because I was expecting the absolute worst.

Yah, I agree... Cars is still a GOOD picture because of what's redeeming about the whole thing, but it is a bit off at parts. I wonder if Joe Ranft's passing had anything to do with it. He was their story guy after all. Another thing could be is that it's a world where we can't help but sit and watc...

I thought this film was more or less "meh". It was definitely dreamworks' less annoying feature, but I have to disagree strongly with the character design. I thought it was pretty darn ugly. Bland might be the better term because they really don't stand out at all. You have two possums and they seri...

did anyone here know that C.O.R.E. animation studios is owned by William Shatner ....now thats something to try and wrap your head around. Yah I heard that.. isn't he CEO or something like that? I do have to say that it's probably one of his finer voice performances in The Wild. I almost didn't rec...

I had this impression too that the movie really looked too much like Madagascar... But not only this one. Do you remember Finding Nemo? Where the dad fish sets on a journey to bring back his kidnaped son... Now we have a lion instead. I don't think I'm going to go watch it in theater.. I'm kind of ...

Alright so I watched THE WILD last night. And you're all probably wondering if it's any good. Well I'll tell you what... it's actually not that bad. It's not that great though either. Just a lot of "meh" moments. It's basically a story that really doesn't need to be told, and for that matter, doesn'...

I know everyone who posts in this forum have good taste, so my warning ahead will not apply to you, but I felt that I needed to warn everyone anyway. DATE MOVIE is the worst movie I've ever seen. Last year, DUKES OF HAZZARD got my vote as worst movie of the year. As for 2006, I think it'll be very d...

Funny that Sam Raimi has said that he's not gonna get into the Venom story I thought... but oh well. Also... if this IS the symbiote costume, I was expecting a smoother look. Just looks like his normal get-up but in black.

Very interesting, regardless. Too bad this movie isn't coming until 2007.

I saw it. It's cute. It's rated G. It's safe for kids while not being totally annoying for the older crowd. The Jack Johnson songs are nice and easy to listen to. Will Ferrell manages to not use his voice as a weapon but actually plays Ted (man in the yellow hat) pretty straight, so I respect that. ...

The good news don't stop coming in! "the sequels that Disney had wanted for "Monsters, Inc." and "Finding Nemo" have been cancelled. Though an "Incredibles" follow-up may still make it to the big screen." The good news in that is of course no unnecessary sequel for Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. I k...

That's not all. John Lasseter had discussions with the folks in Burbank and Glendale. He basically told the middle execs at Animation that "if you don't draw for a living, you really don't belong in this building". Meaning... no pencil pushers should be making any decisions on anything creative. A l...

Yup, and THIS piece from the NY Times is the greatest bit of talk I've heard from this latest merger: Another the hotly discussed question among artists has been whether Mr. Lasseter - despite having made Pixar's fortune with a brilliant series of computer-generated hits - will bring back the tradit...
