Nice work, the only thing that bugs me a bit is the story telling, the rendering is nice but at times it feels like it needs letters to understand what's happening. Nice overall.

Spidey pencil test

I was inspired by delinquints spidey pic, so I put together a quick pencil test in Illustrator 10. It's just a stick figure sketch but it's just to check the timing before I do the clean up. If you choose to letter digitally, Adobe Illustrator is the best way to go. It's the most flexible tool for font manipulation.

My opinion is that as long as you put the right cools next to the right warms, your stuff won't look flat even if you're not using gradations. play with the values, pushing things back and bringing thing forward.
