Rodriguez has said that they shot the books in their entirety, then later cut some scenes for running time and pacing issues. Though for the DVD, he wants to have an option where you can watch each individual story uncut. A link to an article on IGN where Rodriguez discusses this. Though, as fun as ...

Nice man. The Pop Helmet's a nice touch. It makes no sense, but it just adds something to the story. :)

Overall I enjoyed it. Some changes/tweaks I liked, some didn't, but I figured since Miller helped make the calls, that's how he wanted it. It's hard to really guage my reaction. When I see a film I really enjoy, I want to see it again as soon as I can. In this instance, I enjoyed the film, but it ma...

Great visual take on the old polar bear/snowstorm gag. My comments would be on minor things like the kerning (the "a"s in "polar" and "bear" being farther apart from the other letters), and the composition issue that bio mentioned. But over-all it's looks great. Funny. You seem to handle the waterco...

Glad you guys like it.

Goldenboy! Man, it's been ages since I've seen that. Not a reference I would have noticed at first, but it's pretty funny now that you point it out.

Well, by obsessive I guess I meant the detail and the dedication to observing random things made the piece seem fascinating to me. I meant it in the nicest way possible at any rate. :)

Also, thanks for the compliment.

Wow, this is really good. It is an interesting exercise, but you came up with a great result. I like how you include that larger middle panel with various list items incorporated within. Kind of a moment where you see a scene through the lister's eyes. All the fine detail makes this feel very obsess...

Phil likes bikes...

My friend Jeremy recently asked me to do a pin-up for his minicomic Back Pew Blues . http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/jasonrainey/phillikesbikes.jpg There's a character in the book named Phil who has a salty tongue and no love for cats, so I decided to play that up here. The tone of the pictur...
