I agree, the teaser didn't really give me an impression of what the movie would be like (though I did like the pretty Superman over the Earth shot), so it's hard to say if I'm interested in it or not. Guess I'll wait for a more informative trailer.

These are lovely! Great, purely visual humor. I also love the simple, iconic style.

My favorites so far are the toaster and the game assassin.

JPx3 - Dude! I didn't even know you visited these boards. Awesome! As for the calendar, not only should it rock your socks off, but it won't be done three months into the year like last time. Vince - I appreciate whatever comments I get, even if it is just "neat". Thanks for your critiques as...

Let The Groundhog Sleep

I've been working on some illustrations for a self-published calendar this month. The theme of the drawings is "predictions of the future". This is one that I did for February. http://jae.imperialotter.com/temp/feb06_72rgb.jpg In the future, scientists have created an artificial intelligence that ca...

Hey Mark,

I only had time to quickly browse the first couple of pages, but I dig the art so far. Your coloring is really good on these panels.

Made sure to bookmark it so I can read it later when I have time. Looking forward to it. :)

re: the round piano, I figured he was tapping on something that wasn't really a piano, and was instead imagining playing a keyboard.

But I dig your explanation as well. :)

Nice sketch by the way.

Does anyone know why it has two different titles? I would think Braindead was the working title or something, but it doesn't look like it. From what I've heard, Braindead is the original title that's used outside of the U.S. Apperantly, the distributor in America asked to have the title changed bec...

Save the Green Planet . Let me tell you, this trailer does NOT prepare you for the rest of the film. I....I still don't know what to think of this film aside from the fact that I need to see it again. O_O I rented this the other day after vaguely remembering seeing the trailer... and YOWZA! Certain...

A couple of thoughts... I personally like the black and white art. You've come up with some pretty interesting textures in your brushwork, and to me it's more interesting than the greyscale equivalent (particular standout, the establishing shot of the church building)(also, i'm not trying to bash yo...

Jesus was way cool. He could turn water into wine, and if he wanted, he could be faster than the Batmobile. No wonder there are so many Christians!

*end lame references*

Epic shots of hairy legs, this cat that I don't get... this definitely has my interest so far. Looking forward to seeing more hopefully. I really like the pacing in the last three panels. That last panel with the really drawn out sniff (plus the shirt still over his head) had me doing some serious b...

Why? Well, let me tell you why. It wasn't supposed to go this far. 48, 72, those were just for fun. I never thought it would get this insane. But now there's competition. Bez (who did the 100 hour comic) beat my last record, and I've been warned that as soon as I get this next record, he's gonna tr...
