Okay, for those of you who didn't like this movie, it's probably because you didn't see MY version, which was awesome. [SPOILARZ] Now, I'm notoriously bad at remembering names in movies. I also am bad at remembering specific dialogue. This may have something to do with getting into animation. BRIGHT...

Wow, cool. I love the amount of variation that you're bringing to even very similar body shapes. The exploration sheets are really fun to look through!

DIK - good call, thanks!

JAKE - Yeah, maybe... I was thinking it'd make a fun series, too.

Wow! Great design! It's very direct and that simpleviewer interface is really pleasant to use. How easy is it to update? I'm gearing up for a site redesign also, and have been looking for ways to ease the updating process. Um... I'm worried that clicking the headlines of the posts on your blog seems...

Robot Surprise!

Hey! Here is a drawing I did today - it's the first non-project-related self-sufficient bit of drawing I've done in at least a year. It's about 20 inches by 9 1/2, pencil on paper, and it's a gift for the son of a friend of mine, whose first birthday is quickly approaching. http://www.tonycliff.com/...

Yes! Awesome! I'm looking forward to trying that. Ha ha, so I'm not the only one who bought a DS so they could play games from the warm, safe comfort of their bed? (As opposed to the cold, cruel living room sofa. Boo.)

BIOSHOCK Depending on the time of day, I can't tell if I'm enjoying this game or if it's work. Sometimes it's both. As in, I really want to keep going but it's not intrinsically fun enough to make it a totally enjoyable experience. Still really cool, though. Occasionally as I sit at my desk I can't...

Article: Video Games, Comic Books, Cultural Value

"Is the Cultural Trajectory of Videogames Doomed to Parallel That of Comic Books?", a 2-part article by N'Gai Croal. An interesting read which I would think about more except I have to get back to work.

So this is funny... I just watched Eastern Promises and Shoot 'em Up back-to-back. One was very good, the other was very not.

Watching the credits, it turned out that Denise Cronenberg was the costume designer for both films. WEIRD.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

How is there no thread on this yet? I saw it the other day and it is easily one of the best films of the year. It is absolutely gorgeous. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are both mesmerizing. And I love that cute little thing that seems to go hand-in-hand with musical theatre where all the char...

WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT SHOT??????? I know, eh? I kept wondering about this. Maybe it's something they cut? The movie was fun, though. Very, very suspenseful! Completely riveting. And the visuals were excellent in terms of cinematography, etc. etc. etc. << HELLO SPOILARZ >> The ending did feel a litt...
