Batman: Gotham Knight

Comes out today! First and foremost, I'm a big fan of Studio 4C, and I was ecstatic to hear that they were signed on for a few episodes. The DVD will explore Batman's journey from Batman Begins to The Dark Knight , with the signature storytelling styles and twists of production houses Studio 4C, Pro...

The point of all this is that the feeling I had before I tripped that guy, the feeling that my friend probably had before he punched me in the stomach, is the very same feeling I sense lightly emanating from the last two Pixar films. It's really faint, but it's there. That sense of fear of being ac...

I gotta say that after using a Cintiq, I never really looked back at my old Wacom tablet. Granted, I was using a Graphire 4, so there wasn't much real estate to work with, but at the same time, using a Cintiq just felt far more natural to me. I've animated 2 films: one with the Graphire, and one wit...

The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant

"Thomas Covenant, The Unbeliever" (first 3 books) - Lord Foul's Bane - The Illearth War - The Power that Preserves This series dates back into the 1970's, as my dad recommended I read it when I was pretty young. He said if I liked Lord of the Rings, then I'd be blown away by this. I kinda wrote it o...

One of Pixar's better films...

Spoilers ahead... I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by the film. Not because it was bad - it wasn't - but because the film offered such a nice premise, a beautiful first act setup, which was squandered when the narrative moved its way into space. During the first scenes I remember fe...

haha! I guess if we count music, I'd have to agree. Also, I'd agree Wall-e had a far more original concept. But Kung-Fu Panda's credits just looked so damn nice.

That being said, I just bought the Kung Fu Panda Artwork book, so I might still be on a high from that. haha!

Now I can't decide if Kung Fu Panda or Wall-E wins out for best end credits this year.
I'd give that one to Kung-Fu Panda.

^_^ Evidently though, based on the style of Eve and the opening Pixar cartoon, the staff have been playing too much Portal. HAHA! The short at the beginning, along with Wall-E itself, are my new favorites from Pixar. I'm gonna get in the same boat and say I'm not gonna discuss anything till more pe...

Ya now, it's nice to see someone finally say that this movie hit pretty spot on. If you look at half the "hardcore Marvel" blogs, it seems to be catching nothing but heat and bad reviews. I for one share your points of view on this almost exactly. It was pretty spot on, GREAT use of camera, definite...
