Re: The King's Game

This looks really good! You clearly picked up some new techniques when you helped colouring Amulet.

Great stuff!

Sinterklaas is coming!

Tomorrow it's Sinterklaas, I can’t wait! Sinterklaas is by far the best feast we have in the Netherlands. And since we are already buried up to our armpits in Sinterklaas television shows, commercials and what not I decided to also make a contribution to the hype. See the illustration below with an ...

Re: Sketch thread

Great illustrations Pascal! That last sketch is really energetic.

Funny, I was wondering the other day if you might have illustrated any children’s books since your style would be great for it. And now I read that you have, I'm going to get a copy!

Re: 6-Commando

Hey M! This new approach to your colouring surely paid off, it adds a lot of depth to the image. It's quite a big improvement if you compare it to the colours on page 10.

I like it, keep 'm coming!

Re: From Death Til Now Chapter 3 Resumes!

The government documents are a strange thing. i spend a lot of time looking at old UFO documents from that time period. You;d be surprised how informal they are. I also left the spelling errors in them as they generally are a sign that the letter is genuine, since we didnt have word processors then...

Re: 6-Commando

I'm bound to thank you once again, Joost - the encouragement goes a long way! And both you and Jason are responsible, in a way, for the tack I'm taking on this particular page (which is why, in this posting, it's just inks down there!) Let's just say I know where you're coming from; I find it very ...

Re: 6-Commando

I see what you mean about the text being a lot. But you just can't avoid pages like this from time to time; story must be told. I actually think you great job making the command post feel claustrophobic and let Zaballa and Haulley have their argument all on the same page. What I wanted to say: great...

Love those last couple of pages! Did you send this of to any publisher yet? I'm very interested to hear how that goes.

Love to see more pages too!

Awesome artwork! To bad the text on Facebook is so small, I would love to read those preview pages.

Re: From Death Til Now Chapter 3 Resumes!

I've re-read this webcomic from page 1 this weekend and I just want to say that this is a really good story you are telling here. I lost track of the storyline a while back because I missed a few updates and when I finally picked up it was with a flashback page so I had no idea what was happening. B...

Re: Semmie the Forest gnome [Updated 4 nov]

Thanks M.! (Sorry for the late response, I had to do a lot of house hold chores this week.) I'm glad you like the composition, I wasn't quite sure if the long panels would work or if they would just make the page awkward to read. I'm also glad you like the last panel, I really like the way it turned...

Long way down

When I started on this page I thought to myself: "Ha, coloring this one is going to be easy! There are only a few figures on it; actually it's mostly the main character. And the background is striped wallpaper! Easy!” Somehow this page is finished 2 days later than planned and I can't point out any ...

Re: 6-Commando

Colored page looks really good! I really like the smoke trail the bombshell is making, first a normal blast and then some sound barrier blast (or something like that), really nice! I'm also verry keen to see a daylight page, since I saw this page in black and white I have the impression that some of...
