Re: Semmie the Forest gnome [Updated 11 mar]

Saved by the clean laundry! No kissing the floor, but a comfortable landing in a big pile of soft bathing towels.
Have fun with page 10.

Re: MEGA WEST (*updated 3/8*)

Haha, in the picture above this cowboy looks a lot like captain Haddock from Tintin. Panel 4 on page 8 looks really good by the way.

Re: Semmie the Forest gnome [Updated 25 feb]

Thanks Ryan! I do like stairs, there's another one coming at the end of the story where I'm quite proud of. I'm glad you like panels 3 and 4 because it was a real pain getting right.

Re: MEGA WEST (*updated 2/26*)

Haha! He's not so tough anymore with the milk mustache.
I have to admit it took me some time to see it being in black and white and all, but I read somewhere that you plan on coloring this and then that "milkstache" will be quite noticeable.

Re: Semmie the Forest gnome [Updated 25 feb]

Now things get really thrilling, because these stairs are high! Gnomes are off course extremely tough guys, but it looks like our main character is going to have a really unpleasant meeting with the floor at the bottom of the stairs. And it probably will be quite a bit more unpleasant then the last ...

Re: MEGA WEST (*updated 2/22*)

This is really good, I’m also very curious to see where this story is going.
Oh by the way, that was a really nice piece you did for 6-commando.

Re: Much the Miller's Son (back in action 2010!)

Like Mat said, we're still reading. I do have to admit I lost the storyline a little bit after the intermission.

Sketches

Not long ago I read Pascal Campion's plea about showing your sketches to people and not just finished illustrations in order to grow as an artist. This was some excellent advice and since I've started some preliminary work on the next story of my comic "Semmie the Forest gnome" I thought I put this ...

ICT consultant by day, comic maker by night. I guess there are very few people who can actually make a living of making comics.

Re: Semmie the Forest gnome [Updated 29 jan]

Thanks M.!

I was hoping that last panel would make a nice cliffhanger. Next page is all about descending, I hope I get the action right!

Really nice looking trailer, must have taken quite some time to make.

I love the story and art on the zero issue it really got me excited to read the rest of the story. Are you self publishing this?

Re: 6-Commando

Colors are looking good! About the head-on shot of maj. Rucker, I wouldn't change it if I were you. I can't believe someone is bothered by the fact it is a little less perfect compared to the rest of the page. In fact the awesome tank and shot of colonel Haulley need to be balanced out by some "simp...

Re: Sketch thread

That first African illustration is soooooooo sweet! And I love the glowing present in the last picture, really draws your eye to it within those grey tones. By the way I got "Kids GO" in the mail this week and I like to say it's a great book, every page bursting with "campy22 energy". DVD is great a...
