@Rohwer

It's a 5 page story and should wrap up Friday if I can keep up with it. I'm still a little slow on the digital painting.

Labor Day - True Fan Boost

My friend Arlo has an idea called the True Fan Boost than evolved from Kevin Kelly's "1000 True Fans" article. He suggests using Labor Day as an opportunity to make an effort towards showing people you appreciate their work, both by buying something and by sharing your enthusiasm with others. If any...

This had some great elements but I think it could have been a better story by actually leaving more of the story elements out. Movies like this try to fit into the same structure as other films and they're just too absurd. It was great but I think it could have been better if it were more real or le...

I definitely like the wider shot of the whale, his tail seems a little small to me though?
Hmmm.. Yeah, that tail is a bit smallish isn't it. I guess flying whales rely more on aerodynamic flippers than the thrust from large flukes.

@Kazu - Arrested Development is phenominal! **spoilers** I think my favorite part was Hancock's fortress of solitude. A dusty dump of a trailer tossed up on a hill top. I liked most everything up until just after the plot twist with Theron and then I wish we could have seen a different resolution an...

I went out and caught this last night. I had fun but it wasn't anything exceptional. Good actors and fun special effects dragging along a so-so story.

Actually, it made me wonder if there was more to the story that got left out or dumbed down.

I love playing games but it's all about balancing time and priorities right now.

I find comfort in the vision of myself as an old man eating tapioca and playing some crazy, immersive game of the future.

Anyone want to join my geezer raiding party in about forty years?

So any suggestions on what could have been done to clean up the lazy storytelling and make this a better film? Here's what I think.. (spoilers beyond...) Here are some things that *might* have made the story stronger. 1. Magnetism The magnetic properties of the crystal skull could have been more con...
