I really like page 2 :)
Some more variance in their expressions would be cool, the faces tend to be obscured a lot.

The fishboat is just gorgeous! I think the reveal in the last panel (of Swoop on the sign) would have even more impact if you widened the shot a little to include the bear looking quizically up at him. I have to go check out the site now as this is just getting better and better (all the parts with ...

The last page got me confused: in panel 1 Ambrose is pulling the shield off the wall (which could be a little more decrepit/cob webby looking in an old mansion of the dead?) and then in panel 2 she's shoving the old guy onto it (where if grew quite a bit) and calling fro Ambrose to hurry up? Did he ...

Tree-based warriors with a marine mindset??
Good intro though! My first thought was along the lines 'more vampires....' but you created a nice and ominous set up!
Please change the color of the candle on pg 1 though! It's hard to distinguish from the guy's face in panel 2.

I love how they're just sort of floating. Some funky lighting could really add to this; as it is there's just some runes floating around and not really a lot of action... you could add 'power' glows around their hands, or just generally centered between them, which would give you the opportunity for...

Yeah the arms don't make sense at all, I can't tell what he's doing, and they're completely different sizes. They always hammered this concept into us in animation: you need to have good silouhette value (as in if the character's pose was completely filled in with black and you could still guess wha...

I like the way you did the foreground... but I don't really know what you're going for so far so there's not much to say. I personally don't like the clouds as they look to solid and 3d, almost like little ufos.

I'm not sure the knife is in the right place in the big guy's hand, it almost looks like it's cutting through where the meat of his thumb would be.. plus if he's seriously attacking I don't think he would lift a finger off his grip like that. I'm not really a fan of the placement of his right leg, i...

I've listed my new webcomic on some of the ranking/voting sites and here's my first vote incentive image :) Evil is my favorite bear to write for though his symbol is a pain to get somewhat even.

You can check out the comic here: http://dooomcat.com/wp/

Gorgeous! The color scheme is really cool and I love what you've picked for a light source! She seems solid and not too etheral but then her pose and her hands are so dainty she does come off fragile and it makes me worry for her... what does your wife think about the situation you've put her in? :)

This looks really cool, it really sets the mood!

Liking the grainy texture, but that's definitely some awkward furniture to live with.

Thanks again guys for all the comments, they're so appreciated! (Flight is definitely the friendliest board I post at :)

These are some commission sketches I did that I quite liked in the end:
