'Tis William from AIB. Ha ha. I was actually snooping around face book, and I went to the webstie with your drawings. I thought, "These look familiar," and then I remembered that I had seen them here.

Clark, is that you? I like that last one the best, but that Rhino is also pretty sweet. Funny how impressing people with artwork can get you good grades in a non related class, ha ha.

MG wrote: Then again, Watterson would probably sell his soul before he sold the strip.
Considering how much the spirit of the comic in comic form means to him, I think selling his soul and selling his strip are just about the same thing. I have a lot of respect for him for not commercializing it.

Hmm, Andre, the watercolour texture idea sounds intriguing. I may just try it. The only problem is that I don't know how I would get the colour texture part transparant but keep the lines black at the same time. Hmm. Also, I'll take the close up idea to heart. I think I've had a few closer up shots ...

Well I'm glad that my watercolours can stand up tp the digital stuff. I still need to get a little more comfortable witht hem. I think the fact that the pages I did were at night kind of inhibited me though, ha ha. Anyways, I think I'll be able to do two pages a week once I get started. Just gotta f...

Mm, good points. I think what I'm gonna do is practice moar with watercolours and do digital until I feel more confident witht them. Then maybe later on I'll alternate between techniques. That way I get the best of both worlds! Ha ha. I'll have to experement with the opacity maybe. I kind of liek ho...

Mm, that makes sense. I think this is a better example of my watercolours, http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/52756706/?qo=3&q=by%3Aashwara&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps, but I still need some proactice. I have trouble mixing enough of the colours I want, which is why everything ends up being so ligh...

Advice, preferences?

So I'm working on this comic, which I was originally going to colour digitally. Then I realized that my computer could barely handle having painter or photoshop open with big files, even if it's the only program open. With that, I decided to do it all traditionally. But still, I liked how the digita...

Maybe it would have been better if I hadn't been writing it in digitally. My handwriting is much better with a pencil then with a tablet, haha. I might try that all capitals thing. Good idea! I'm glad you liked it, and I was indeed determined. I'm a patient man, but computers are the one thing that ...
