Thanks, guys! I think I'm still sort of obsessed with trying to tell a story on a single page, but I don't think I'll try anything quite as big next time.

Onald Creely, the Professional Ghost Story

Why does Pixar always have to remind us of all the movies it's made? I'm telling you it borders on insecure.

The animation looks solid, but I see no evidence of any compelling content. And that kid's voice is awful.

Re: Wait, what?

That's kind of presumptuous and arrogant, don't you think? Presumptuous if I couldn't back my claims, but arrogant? I think you're reaching. I don't really feel any empathy (or even much kinship) toward the newspaper cartoons, much less the papers at large. It's exclusive web people like me who are putting them out of business in the first place. The medium's been dead for a while anyway; I say let it go quickly so we can move on.

I'm more of a fan of removing as much clicking as possible. With my webcomic I usually make each story fit on one super tall page, and integrate the paneling so that the flow downward seems natural. I think there are a lot of untapped methods of webcomickry out there, although I prefer to set it up ...
