Some newer stuff. The first two are from a project called "Don't Get Sucked Under the Escalator" with Mark Smith. The third is for this week's Drawer Geeks, "Triplets". http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l30/cubiclegangsters/CVR2.jpg http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l30/cubiclegangsters/CVR3.jpg htt...

I feel like I'm a little bit "all over the place" with my style right now. Does it seem that way? I think the majority of your stuff is quite recognizable as "you". Variety in style is an appealing quality in an artist I would say. It's good to have an arsenal to tackle different problems as they a...

Personally, I've never looked at your comic and thought it was suffering for lack of color. As a sort of "other side" of the argument however, I read a really interesting article by Mike Mignola this morning: http://firstsecondbooks.typepad.com/mainblog/2008/04/mentors-cornerf.html . In it, he menti...

Call of Duty stole my attention away from Halo. I'll go back to Halo, but for now I'm hooked on levelling up in the COD multiplayer. You earn much more than bragging rights at each level in multiplayer. Fun times.

I'm certainly not an animation expert, but I would say this is very well done for one person. I hate that 3D animation has killed 2D in North America.

-- hm well. I think there are 2 reasons why your shoes would hang from a telephone line: 1. you want to go barefoot and you hate your shoes. You throw them up there and tell your mom a gang of punks beat you and took your shoes and threw them up on a telephoneline 2. a gang of punks beat you and to...

I think you really might want to think about putting a bit more framing around your panels, especially the inset ones. Given the amount of spot black you have, I think you'll find it would increase the readability.

Well, the explanations put forth are far more complex and sinister:

Certainly adds a different element to your picture ;)

I've found it unfortunate that it is a bit hard to track down some of his books in shops. Some of your character designs reminded me of characters he had in Soulwind. By no means do I think you should just look to one source for style inspiration. I think style evolves naturally anyhow.

This is very nice. I love the little details in the helmet/hand holding the sword. One suggestion might be to add a bit more white into the figure in the foreground. Right now it blends a bit with the grays in the back panels.
