haha, i loves me some pirates! i'm definitely interested to see how the gunwhale transitions to other civilizations, could be really interesting. the only criticism i have is about line variation. and maybe keeping a consistant baseline on your text. otherwise, i think you're doing well!

in your first drawing, i really like how much detail and thought you've put into it. the mushrooms growing off the tree and the other stylized flora really add to the depth of the work. the way you shaded and colored the picture is also really well done. something about your linework is really refre...

overall i think it's coming along pretty well ;) i agree with biocreep's comments and will add that the skirt is a bit too angular (in the irregular sort of way). what you've done with the hair is very nice, i love the flow and organic nature of it. the skirt, however, just sort of juts out in a ver...

aw crap! those are fantastic! i don't think i've ever seen black outlines work so well in a realistic, detailed work like this. your style is very beautiful and i love the colors and manner of shading you've used. are you doing these completely on the computer (vector?) or are these inked on paper?

sweet stuff, campy :) i too like the third the best – i think maybe i just don't like blurred backgrounds. they always feels so photoshopped to me. you get the action across fantastically, and i always love your birds :D

one of my friends thought it was a good idea to make a hotdog in liquid form, so he put a hotdog (with bun!), some ketchup and mustard, and a bit of water in a blender. to this day he can't figure out what went wrong.
