Re: critique wanted, please help!

Throw the image into grayscale mode and take a look at it. What you will probably is that a lot of it is running together. Maybe help the character in front stand out more by adding more highlights to him. Also, something that can help this is placing shadows next to highlights to push and pull the ...

Re: Which Cintiq?

I was thinking of our conversation earlier and thinking that the 12in would be just fine. Glad to hear your feedback now that you've jumped between the two. From everything I've heard around the interwebs, the 12in is nice, but no cigar compared to the 21in.

Which Cintiq?

Hey everyone, I've asked a few others for their thoughts on this and was wondering from others who have used the cintiq which they think is a more solid purchase, the 12in or the 21in model? I am closing in on having enough stowed away to purchase the 12in version, but am debating on whether the ext...

Now that Amulet 3 is wrapped up, I was able to dive back in to FDTN world. We pick up again on the island after George and Virgil's spat.

Re: Avatar

I have to admit that I had to keep quiet after the movie was over when all of my friends were ecstatic about the film. I was really really torn, because experience wise I thought it was amazing. I literally sat up and gasped at the destruction of Home Tree. I thought the characters and story were fi...

Here's a guest piece I did for Tom Dell'Aringa's first Marooned book. I'm super happy with how it turned out:

Re: Michael Regina's Sketch Thread - Updated 11/08/09

Thanks guys! That's coming from two people whose work I enjoy quite a bit myself. Making me feel good. I'm working hard on some things and I think I've rounded a corner on bridging the gap from my traditional painting to my digital. It's taken awhile but I'm proud of the growth.

Re: Yasha Lizard

Pretty nifty stuff! I plan to sit down and read through the whole story here in the next few days or so. But the few that I did read I really enjoyed. Nice to see some simple black and white art around.

Re: The King's Game

Kstipetic: it's a bit of a "secret" for now. I'm still working out a lot of the details. I'll share more as I flesh it out and get a sense for where things are going. But what you can gather from this is that the characters are involved in a tournament of sorts. It's gonna get pretty hairy for them ...

The King's Game- New Pages posted

Started up the process for a new graphic novel pitch I'm working on. Thought I would share the page here: http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n34/thirdeyeh/preview_04-5_v03c.jpg You can also see a break down of my process on my blog here: http://michaelregina.blogspot.com/2009/12/first-peak-at-kings-...

Re: From Death Til Now Chapter 3 Resumes!

Thanks Mr. Average! I have tooled around with doing a section of the site that is dedicated to like an alternate reality style game or deeper exploration of the main mythology. Still tooling around with that. It will probably make more sense once book 1 is done and the table is set so to speak for e...

Re: From Death Til Now Chapter 3 Resumes!

I need to beef that section up in general. It's been on the "to-do" list for like a year! Need to set some time aside and just do it. Good suggestion though. I've been wanting to make amore conserted effort to build up a certain fan-base and mentality around that site. Making it a hub for conspiracy...
