That Terminator is something I wouldn't expect to see you draw... much more serious than you're usual stuff. Pulled it off brilliantly, though.

Re: Summertime - The Adventures of Juice

You have a really nice, soft style to your work that perfectly fits the story you're telling, it seems. The colors go right along with it. And you obviously know your animals.

Nice work. Keep it up!

Re: New RANDOM INK webcomic

Thanks! That's the great thing about this anthology... the freedom to switch around like that. This week's Random Ink story is a four-page slice-of-life by Matt Meyers. Here's the first page (click to read the whole thing, of course): http://threetreesstudios.com/randomink/comics/2009-08-10-RANDOMIN...

Re: Random sketchiness

Yep, they sure were. I told you I couldn’t stop drawing these Psychonauts characters (designed by the excellent Scott Campbell ). This time we have two of the main villains of the game and Lily, the pseudo-girlfriend of the main character, Raz. http://threetreesstudios.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/20...

A couple more characters from the Psychonauts game. These are just way too fun to draw!

I'm glad I'll be able to read this all online now. Some great talent in this book!

Are you still working on the site, though? It looks pretty "bare bones" right now.

Strong as always!

About the German thing... if you think it adds to the uniqueness, leave it in. I found it a bit distracting, but not a big deal.

You definitely need to collect these!

Re: $1

A fun idea for a story! And his style is really fun to look at. I really enjoy the textured look of the coloring. Reminds me of Mike Laughead's work (he's on this board).

Tell him to keep up the great work! This is strong stuff!

Re: Two Weeks of Desert Re-launch

I REALLY dig your inking. That super rough brushwork is very appealing and fits the style of story you are trying to tell. I also enjoy the limited palette. It gives it a unique look. One complaint, though... your site design. I enjoy the look of it, but the navigation is awkward to say the least. I...

A few of the many villains of Dick Tracy... http://threetreesstudios.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/dicktracyvillains2web.jpg http://threetreesstudios.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/dicktracyvillains1web.jpg Back when I was ten, I thought these characters were about the coolest thing ever!

These are well done and I enjoy your style. The cellmate one is surprisingly dark, compared to the others.
