Thanks for the link! The French translation looks quite good ^^ I had the chance to see the movie last automn. It was really pretty. And the music was awsome! I was really happy when I heard Carlos Nunez participated at the creation of the soundtrack ^^ I think Hayao now accepted his son as a direct...

O_o whoops! This kind of explain the idle pose of the character. It was not supposed to have a BG at first!!!...

Doing 1 minute or even 30 secondes poses are worth it! You don't have time to draw details, but you get a great feel of lots of different poses and body expressions! Then it becomes innate when you draw poses from imagination. I love 1 minute poses ^___^

Wow really awsome links gau dog ^___^ I really love the part where we see Miyazaki at work. I had the chance to go to Mikata no Mori the Ghibli Museum near Tokyo. And there is a room where every piece of wall is covered by Miyazaki, sketches, design work and watercolors. I think I spent two hours in...

I don't watch foreign films unless they have subtitles anymore. Dubbed movies feel like a cheap pirated version of the original to me. The idea to lip-sync dialog with mouth movements is a nice, but it shouldn't take precedence over telling a good story. Yeah, same for me. Usually dubbed movies are...

Hey thank you all ^.^ I've been experimenting with this one, cuz I cleaned it with Flash and made a basic coloration. And then I finished everything in open canvas. I usually never make artwork with flash for me (even though I work all day long on it at job). Hey, is your head that big in real life?...

I guess that a lot of misunderstanding of the movie is due to some cultural differences. Miyazaki makes his movie for a japanese audience. And also, as occidentals we sometimes lack some references or even, just the translation can mix everything up. I remember a lot of differences between the Engli...
