It's funny Dave said that this reminds him of a student film, because lo and behold, it was! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DE4qHy0RruA&feature=related (Be sure to press the HQ button, it makes a marginal difference). Yeah, I was pretty surprised when someone linked me this. I wonder if the film wil...

Man, I find myself watching that opening sequence a few times a day now, I REALLY dug it! (and frankly it makes me want to see that prequel that Moore and Gibbons planned at one point). y'all know a nice quicktime of it is up for download at yU+Co's website? (...) seems Warner made them take it down...

I don't know why I'm not sleeping right now, but I just got back and its fresh in my mind. Because I decided to take a last minute plunge and read the TPB this week before the movie came out, it's impossible for me not to compare the film to it. Especially when the film follows the source so closely...

seeing this guy's stuff actually reminded me of yours, deafguy... but yeah, I agree, this story is really great. And I like the idea of changing styles to reflect the story like you did here. Each work fine within their own right so it's not really distracting to me. Awesome! Yeah, if you can't get ...

haha, I like the Charlie Brown flip the woman pulls on the first panel of page 11. : )

Also, your professor reminds me of a Tezuka scientist.

Keep up the good work!

Josh, I got to go to the "Coraline" panel today at Gallery Nucleus and the artists said that most everything you see, including the soon to be famous circus mice shot, was done practically. Each mouse was a separate puppet on its own rig. They only used the computer too take out the rigging and com...

well, I certainly hope not! The theater was packed when I went to see it last night. So, the monumental artistic talent on display here is pretty obvious so I won't bother gushing. The film is beyond beautiful, and it's freakin' incredible that it was all stop motion. I'm truly curious to see a "mak...

If you have a DS (or a GBA/GBA emulator) and are a fan of old-school style beat-em ups I suggest a Gameboy Advance game called Bruce Lee: Return of the Legend. I sat down and actually watched Enter the Dragon the whole way through for the first time earlier this week (it was awesome), and started wo...

Frankly from an animation standpoint I think Bolt looks pretty nice, actually! Like the look of the characters too, I hope I get around to see it as well. Maybe if they did something with those glasses to make them fit better on your face as opposed to feeling like the giant ones I had when I was se...
