Very nice line width veriation! I've done some limited work with ink and brush and its really fun to experiment with lineweight because few other media offer as much variation as it does. Keep it up!

Cool peice! I think the blue is somewhat distracting and its kind of annoying me. It would look better just as a black and white image. also the text is a bit distracting... I think you either need to make the text the main focus as in your last image or just not have it at all. I like this though, ...

LOVEly linework on those last two! On the first one the chekerboard seems to be slanting down toward the lower left corner... that is a bit distracting to me compositionaly especially since his right arm is making a sort of arrow pointing to it! You might be able to remedy both things by centering t...

I love this except for the grid lines. IMO they kill the peice, they arent really necessary and dont add to the peice. Try a simple texture but not grid lines. Keep it up!

Some stuff I did today... in chronological order!!! This one was for my marine biology class. We didn't have to hand it in so I kept it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/mechgunner/04.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/mechgunner/mailart1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/mech...

These are really sweet! On that last one I think the red "o" in "porte" is a bit visually distracting. Good work all around though, very professional.

Ian Jay: I'm not old enough to be called sir yet but thanks! Plognark: Thanks narishatar: Yeah straight ink with no underdrawing is the way to go, I find that I loose too much of the energy when I ink from a drawing. This is I little comic that I did today: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/mec...
