Thanks for the reply, plognark. I agree about the shadow, I worked with the shadow alot and repainted it a number of times but looks like I still dont have it quite right yet. I dont think I'll go back and correct it though... I'll use the knowledge gained for my next peice.

This started out as a really quick doodle that I didnt have any intention of taking further than that but after I finished the sketch I liked it so I decided to put some color on it. Great work though, I really see improvement in these and I admire your consistancy. Try tightening things up a little though because sometimes its hard to make things out in your drawings if you know what I mean.

I actually like this peice more than your other ones. You used white more effectivly in this one. It seems like its meant to be there and not just is there. I deffinatly see improvment since your first images though. Keep up the good work!

woohoo! much better! Though the characters should have reflections and not shadows if the backround is a window looking out on another planet which I am assuming it is. Also, the energy around the sword doesnt look very... energetic anymore because of the backround. Try either changing the color or ...

My scanner wont pick up the subtle values or the lighter lines in this one so it looks better in person.

Is this a strip that is getting published somewhere? It should be if it isnt. This puts nearly every strip in my newspaper to shame and I get 4 good sized pages worth of strips a day. Great artwork and pretty darn funny. Good stuff.
