How is it that I spent the whole day bored and surfing the internet and did not know if was Talk Like A Pirate Day until NOW? (Oh, and, nice parrot.)

The Wisdom of Road Signs

This comes from earlier in the week when I was thinking about how much internet garbage I take in.

Rough Stuff

Some rough sketches from the past week. I don't know why, but I find it very satisfying to sketch out ideas without using an eraser. It feels more raw and unadulterated.

I have to admit that one of the things I like about your first colored versions was that she didn't have the token red hair. It was still good, with a nice twist. But then you added the red hair (and some purplish hues, too) and it's likeomgwow.

I apologize, I am all sugared up.

Loosen Up and Go Back

I've been feeling way to tight and wound up in my sketchbook. It doesn't feel good. So this week I tried to loosen up and go back to some "concepts" that I was fond of five+ years ago.
