I loved the first two thirds, hated the ending. I mean really hated it. I didn't read the book so I was not prepared for the movie to take a sharp left turn into no mans land. It wasn't until I got home later that I realized the movie wasn't about the sheriff or Llewelyn but about Anton. This made m...

I mean I know I wasn't reading the greastest works of literature but it got me through the gaps between the better stuff that came along every now and then. Now though, I go back to the pulp stuff...

Ugh! My brother tricked me into watching this trailer and I felt like puking. When will studios learn that if you can't get the star actor back for a sequel then it's not worth doing?

OK, I wanted to give ID the benefit of the doubt, wanted to believe that they were going to break their previous pattern and actually advance the FPS genre, guess not. Don't get me wrong, ID made the FPS genre and deserve all the respect for that but since then the only thing they can do is create a...

Thanks for the advice guys. Seems like the vote is unanimous and should get out and draw some real people. I will try that as soon as I can fit it in (Friday mayhaps) and maybe post the results provided they are not too abysmal. Thanks again.

Well, I finally got the sanner back and managed to scan some stuff from my sketchbook. Now you may look at some of this and think you have seen it somewhere else before, your prolly right. Most of these were drawn from a piece I have seen somewhere else. I am returning to drawing from a long (10 yea...

About music in a way, but a story not a recommendation.

So I just got back from the best concert of my life. My friend Mike and I went to the Nelly Furtado concert tonight at the Windspear here in Edmonton. We were third row on the left side, aisle seats. We were literally 8 feet from the stage and because we were on the aisle there was nothing and no-on...

Hmmm, it's hard to remember what came first it was either borrowing Tintin and Asterix comics from the school library or my grandfather buying me my first Archie comic at the local drugstore. Whichever came first those three have created a lifelong love/obsession with sequential art.

As a pure consumer at this point in the game I have to shamefully admit that I am much more likely to buy a 'pamphlet' than a TPB. Especially from an unknown entity. Flight aside of course, but I have been lurking on Bolt City for quite awhile so it is not really an unknown, I know that it will be f...
