Thanks. i don't know. i just use a regular brush with its default settings most of the time. for this piece it was a 10 pixels round brush with the sensitivity settings on default. aft...

How do you make the dots in PS? Sorry I'm such a noob when it comes to digital stuff. don't be sorry :) there are different ways to do dots with PS. the most obvious is to use the half-tone filter. it will convert your image or selection into dots, lines or circles. it can be interesting but often ...

my only grief with the Thor piece is about composition. and lighting. Thor being in the center like that, is just not working. and you should ad some space around him, let the piece breathe, like you did with the woodcut. make us feel that he is the god of thunder, that the sky is under his control....

the dots were done with photoshop, but not with one of its filters. i did a bunch of tones using dots, with different values and i apply them on my drawings, to flesh them out. i use fusion masks to apply the tones where i want them. it's that simple.

there's so much happiness in much of your daily stuff, it's amazing. i can't keep a straight face most of the time. that's not good. i'm the brooding type, you know. a smile ruins my face...
