Hope on Street Cents

Heh, I haven't visited this forum in a while but I was watching Street Cents (a show in Toronto) and saw Hope Larson on it, and I thought it was really cool. The entire bit was on how to become a comic book artist, it was very inspiring.

i know what u mean. Although Feast of Crows wasnt really that great, u could really tell it was half a book.

My suggestion, start reading real literature, and you'll find that George RR Martin wont cut it for you soon enough. :D

well, in Toronto, graphic novels and comics are invading libraries already. All the way from Batman to Hellboy to Will Eisner stuff. Pretty cool. I still like owning comics tho.

its really nice. but the last panel doesnt seem to have the effect that accumulates from the previous two. i dunno, its more the content in the last panel then anything wrong artistically. although the stick figure seems to be floating there. anyways, the first two panels were pretty powerful themat...

wow, these are great. the multipanel one (Portraits 2) was kind of weird tho ( i didnt get it). But the lion one and the last one were very good. Man i luv your style. Hopefully you have a story of somekind in mind.

if u publish this, id prolly buy it to study it :D
