Downloads. I've got nothing of my own to upload.

I'm particularly looking for Iron & Wine. I caught him with Calexico this past weekend and a guy with a minidisc told me he was going to upload it at dimeadozen. But other shows are welcome, too.

Torrent Host

I'm looking for good torrent hosters for bootlegs. I've tried dimeadozen.org, but they're saying they're full.
Any help?
Thanks.

Kazu, I think you're being a too kind. I agree with your reasons for downgrading it, but I'd downgrade it even more. I sat that waiting for the movie to end from five minutes in. The story was too short and needed more character development, which was a shame because the premise has lots of potentia...

I also liked it the first time when it was called "Magnolia," and the time before that when it was called "Short Cuts."

Seriously, though, that said, I did like it. Fun flick, some great moments.

Requisite Kanye Thread

So, any thoughts on the new Kanye West album? I'm digging it, I'd say as much as College Dropout. I'm not too hot on the broke phi broke skits, though. Favorite tracks, so far:
-Touch the Sky
-Gold Digger
-Gone

Pitchfork gave the album a 9.5.

I've got the new Kanye West single "Diamonds for Sierra Leone." Man alive, can that guy produce a song and write a profound rhyme. I can't believe I have to wait another three weeks 'til "Late Registration" drops. I'm gettin' it Aug. 30, no question.

Thanks for the info. I've been wanting to check out some of that stuff since watching the Chris Cunningham DVD. Now I know where to start.

Though my opinion doesn't have much weight, since I don't actually have anything published yet (though I did help with the story on this hopefully soon to be published book, McKee did wonders for me. He's a little long winded and technical, but I had no problem understanding him. I'd say the best th...

I, a frequent lurker of the music and cinematheque forums, am here. I stopped by the flight booth yesterday to say hi to Kazu, but he wasn't there. I'm going to try to stop by today. If anyone wants to say hi, I'll be at Doug TenNapel/Sam Hiti's booth from 11-1, or so, today. I unfortunately won't b...

What a shame. Oh well. I've got tickets to see him on the 19th, so hopefully I'll be able to get the night off. I was one of the "bad kids" who pirated the album, so at least, this way, I'll be able to sing along.

I guess it's a good thing I know Doug, then, since I have all his work and he's bought me a few meals.

I have both, am a big fan of both, and would say that you should get Earthboy. TenNapel took his work to a new level with this and certainly deserves your patronage. It's my favorite work by him so far (I have everything he's done) Yes, I am biased, since I do not know Jack or Meg White, but, in all...
