And a thousand points to anyone who can recognise the one at the end...cause I sure can't!! Thanks. Pretty much what I figured. Cool action with a focus on very un...

Saw: FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS -- I thought this film was very interesting and shot very well, but the way this was told, jumping from present time, back to war, and to a later part during the war while the main characters tour the nation to sell bonds.... it's all over the place. In the beginning there ...

JET LI'S FEARLESS -- I liked it! No, it probably doesn't have the most incredible fights, but they were impressive nonetheless. The only baffling scene is the very last one. If you seen it, you'll know what I'm talking about. Hold the phone! I know everyone's entitled to thier own opinion, but I wo...

Ok it's been a really long time since I posted in this thread so let's see what I've seen since "accepted". SNAKES ON A PLANE -- hehe... everyone thought it was going to be the biggest thing ever from all the hype but it just wasn't. The movie itself though... is just stupid entertainment. See it if...

I bought the 20th Anniversary dvd release of the original Transformers Movie (you know.. the one that takes place in 2005) and there's a bonus featurette about the upcoming film. It really doesn't show much but it has a quick bit of Steven Spielberg saying "this film is going to blow" No wait... tha...

They were nice to the sensory experience but the common senses were bashed to help. I mean as films they're were high class student films in all of the bad ways. Every good actor in it was reduced to crap. The only two people who managed to weld the force/dark side and escape Lucas' greedy paws wer...

I saw the silly comedy titled: ACCEPTED and it's pretty much what you expect. You all know the premise of the kid who gets rejected by every college, decides to pretend that he got into one so his dad wouldn't get on his case. His dad wants to learn more and more about the school constantly so Justi...

Yep. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a modern masterpiece. Strange how we don't immediately think of Robert Zemeckis when thinking of the greatest directors in American cinema, but he really is. Forrest Gump , Roger Rabbit , Back to the Future , and Contact (at least I love this one) are among my top fa...

AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH -- Yes, I know I'm really behind in seeing this but boy I'm so glad I did. It's something that everyone should see. Shocking, riveting, and interesting... it shows us things that I never thought I'd see. Please go see it. Grade: 10/10 (kinda hard to really grade this since it'...

Coheteboy -- I don't find Mann's stuff boring at all, but in fairness I do think he's an acquired taste. I'm a big fan of his stylization and his work is right up my alley. I do admit that he's not great at characterization, but I guess I give him leeway because he's so goddamn good at what he does...

Quick rundown: MY SUPER EX-GIRLFRIEND -- Not as funny as it could have been, kinda stupid, kinda sweet... would make decent airplane fare. Grade: 5/10 THE GROOMSMEN -- Edward Burns directs and stars in this tale of a group of old friends who reunite after a long while. Tempers flare, one comes out o...
