I remember a couple of columns I read on wordplayer a while back that might be of some use to you. Check them out at: http://www.wordplayer.com/columns/welcome.html Here's one on top of my head that deals with animation. http://www.wordplayer.com/columns/wp22.Ink.and.Paint.html As for a spec. script...

Ah, noticed you bounced projects :) The last few pics with the two types of robots looks really cool! Specially like the second one, much due to the lighting and that you dont have to any black or burned out white areas. Looks really nice. The designs of the robots looks whacky and fun!

I love More aswell, be sure to check out Mark Osbornes website www.happyproduct.com You can buy the dvd there and watch a better qt version of the film there (as I just noticed that the youtube link is taken down). As Og said, there are tons of great shortfilms profiled on animwatch, so be sure to c...

Long time since I visited Flight forums now, but it's cool to come back and see that you're still working on this project. I love the music in combination to your moving images in that small clip. Evokes a feeling of melancholy solitude to me. And I agree to what Steve said. Keep it up.

Abit of a late reply but I like this alot. Now I can't see that the Cars characters would look in any other way in their insides. Great stuff.

Thanks for the welcome! I have to say that I like both images although I favor the dirty one, even though it sometimes looks abit to "slapped on" over the image when its moving, it does give the images some texture, wich I prefer over strictly flat shaded ones. Still, thats very subjective and my ow...

Yeah, it was mainly the cage like lines that made things confusing, aswell as the combination of the two squares with the bird with no real referencepoints that made it a hard time for me to decide what to make out of page 3. However the storytelling became clear when I continued down. I think my pr...

I think that was really great! I like the sort of minimalistic approach aswell. As a critiqe, I had abit of trouble following page 3 and 4 initially and I think the placement of the smaller rows over the big page that confuses me. Although I'm not an avid comic reader so It might be my inexperience ...

Hey Michael, just noticed this new project of yours. I have to say that the ligthing as always look really good, but what takes the images to a whole other level is the colors. Looks great. Keep it up. By the way, I'm not sure if you have ever checked out the plugin Dirtynuts? It knocks up your rend...

I think the colored ones have the advantage to be abit easier to the eyes due to the less contrast fighting over your attention. However I tend to agree with Dark aswell, as being able to get more material out might be even more valuable in the long run.

Like so many before me have said, your artwork is very beautifull and the world you have created with it seems living and breathing - that makes me want to see more of this.

Yeah, that was Joe Ranft, abit offtopic perhaps, but I think they dedicated Cars to him (in memory of) together with a collage of his voiceacting parts in previous Pixar-pictures during the endcredits of that movie. I won't speculate in how much he meant for Pixar, but its always sad when someone go...
