Yay, my sketch thread has two pages!

One thing I find really helpful for digital painting is to thoroughly get to know the brush engine. I did that when I starting using tablet. I looked at it section by section, slid all the sliders to the bottom, the middle and the top, one at a time, and see what happens. Tried all them little check...

I love it when artwork has neither a digital, nor a physical feel to them, but rather just a general arty feel. With these pictures I find that unless I force my brain to it, I don't really think about how they were made. That, I would argue, gives the artwork a more direct connection to your imagin...
