I took my wife and kids to see this on the IMAX here in Seattle last Sunday and it was an amazing time. I'd see every movie on an IMAX screen if I could. Here are my thoughts... While I do agree that most of the Five were kind of flat character-wise, really the movie was about the transformation of ...

I've been playing a lot of Assassin's Creed since I got it as well as Final Fantasy Tactics on my new PSP (the slick Vader edition). I'm loving AC as I'm one of those people who does everything before moving on, I try to clear each part of the City before taking the boss and moving on. I'm detail or...

I finally picked up mine on the 26th after the holiday rush. It was in the Kids GN section at my local Barnes & Noble. I'm throughly enjoying it Kazu.

So in a weird twist, I guess there is a new Dune remake in the works. To be directed by Peter Berg.

I'm not quite sure what to think about that one.

EDIT: WTF is up with the noise on the 360? It makes my living room sound like the deck of an aircraft carrier. Yeah the optical drives on some of the 360s sound like planes during take off, it's crazy. I have a friend that it sounds like that all the time whether he's playing or not. Mine really on...

I'm not playing much as most of my new games are planned Christmas gifts from my wife/kids. So it would be unfair to play them until I "officially" get them. Those should include Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed and I think Orange Box too. I specifically held off on buying games so they would have some...

That's where it is in B&N? I looked in the regular GN area (where all the Flight books are) with no luck I guess on my next trip I'll look in the kids section.

Does the original Dune movie count as a "bad" movie? Most reviewers rip it apart and even Lynch said he never should have made it, but I still love it. Realistically there hasn't been a perfect Dune movie yet as the made for Sci-Fi ones were nice but they lacked the grittiness of the original. Altho...

I'm also a Allison Krauss fan. My listening tastes vary wildly but when I say I don't listen to country I tend to clarify that as "radio friendly pop country". I prefer the older bluegrass inspired bands. There are also a lot of Alt-Country bands that I'm huge fans of like the Drive-By Truckers , Pu...

I want this to be good so bad. I'm not really sure there needed to be another Indy movie but now that we have no choice I'm pretty much begging for it to be decent.

I really wasn't into the idea of this film until I saw the trailer. It never seemed like something that would translate well to live action. But it looks like they have done a decent job and I'm kind of looking forward to it now.

I'm hoping to pick this up over the weekend and then I have to make some time to really get into it. The Wii really caught me as a great system but for some reason Nintendo waited for a little to long to release a lot of it's first party games. We didn't get a Metroid until Aug. and now Mario. We sh...

Both my wife and I are so hooked by this show. It's so good that I'm sure it won't last past the first season (I'm hoping to be proven wrong). I love every character: the quirky and neurotic pie maker, the cynical PI, the ruthless and yet hilarious waitress and of course the vibrant not-so-dead girl...

Constantine is always underrated mainly because people like to pick on Keanu's stone-faced acting talent. Personally I really liked the way it turned out and watch it frequently. Plus you get a pre-hype(pre-transformers) Shia Labeouf. PS. Yeah, Constantine was cool! Tilda Swinton, especially. Yes. V...
