Skits are usually hit or miss on rap albums. Handsome Boy Modeling School had a bunch of Ladies' Man skits that totally ruined the album.

I'm diggin' Diamonds of Sierra Leone and Heard em Say. Good stuff.

This film may well surpass Minority Report and Blade Runner as "The Best Adaptation of a Phillip K. Dick Story." Linklater's been blowin' up lately and I really dug "Waking Life." Now if only Soderburgh could invest some of his older visual style into his new stories.

I'm apprehensive about the casting of Mos Def for any role in this movie. He is fine, but Black and Sassy has basically no place in a Douglas Adams anything. Does anyone else have trouble seeing him as Ford? It makes me think this is going to be a commercialized piece of film shit with the name of ...

Queen is hilarious. "The Bicycle Race" is funny enough that me and my friends had to pull over on the way to the mountains to avoid crashing the car, we were laughing so hard the first time we all heard it. It was also the morning after a sleepless night, but that song is still hysterical. Bicycle ...

Just saw ND last night and it rocked my goddamn socks! From Deb and her side-ponytail to Pedro's wig, it was a hair fiesta. It made me sad for the days of tatertots, trapper-keepers and sweatpants. When being uncool didn't matter, because we were all dorks. Ah, middle school, how I miss you.

Not sure how I feel. Loss, sure. But he's left us with so much and did so much for the medium of comics! We should be celebrating his life, not mourning his death! Check out one of his books from a library or buy one from a store. Make a comic of your own. Me, I'm getting drunk. The OnionAVCult post...

A bottle of Jamison Irish Whiskey, some new bedsheets, a portable DVD player (for the family), some cash from relatives and an Ed Hopper calandar.

Not much from my wishlist, but I still have a few gifts to receive (and give).

The zombie running issue is entirely based on our current fears of infection and disease. In Night of the Living Dead there was a meteor (or was it a downed Soviet satellite) that caused the dead to rise. In the 60's we had the Cold War being an indirect cause of zombies. Now we've got internal enem...

The trailer is on Yahoo! and I was confused and kinda aprehensive. Depp looks strange, kinda like Bruce Cambell's character in "Escape from LA." He looks so . . . happy and it freaks me out. Also the song to the trailer is awful, but some of the characters (Veruca Salt and Charlie) look like some st...

I must give a nod to They Might Be Giants, who have many humorous songs, but I think the most funny song they've written is "Shoehorn with Teeth," if only for their use of a glockenspiel. "I am not Your Broom" runs a close second. Wesley Willis has a few good ones. "Rock n' Roll McDonalds" always ma...

I'm working on two mixes right now, one of somber, rainy day music and one of heavy beats, both hiphop and techno. Any suggestions or order changes would be cool. Phat Beats: Jungle Boogie- Kool and the Gang Supermoves- Overseer The Message- Grandmaster Flash Kid Kenner - Galactic Gangster Tripping-...
