Oh man I've been trying to order the Malinky Robot book in England for literally months now but every store is out of stock. Apparently the book is out of print.
There's some guy on Amazon selling a used copy but it's also for huge amounts of money.

Any ideas?

Photoshop full version is almost an entirely different program when looking at how much better it really is than Elements. If you have the opportunity lose Elments and get the full Photoshop. Or Painter. Painter is cheaper and for drawing I find it more useful than PS, but I use PS to finish off ima...

Your colours are great, but you might want to check your proportions and perspectives. Also, in a few frames/panels there's not a lot of distinction between foreground and background...

Although, I do very much like some of the backgrounds.

I do like the canyon and the boat, pontoon/pavements pictures.

I've been working on an animation for some time now that is based in a canyon. Took me ages to get the perspective right. At first I just lost the whole frame to the canyon walls, just didn't make sense...

Anyway :D

Thanks for this post, I just checked out a couple of tracks on youtube. Now I'ma get the album!! Great stuff. But if you like Deltron then hear these, they can usually be found on youtube: Oddisee - (Book Of Days ft. Soulstice and tracks 'Propa' and 'Such is Life') and try Kenn Starr - ('Starr Statu...

Soundtracks are worth a listen, although at times they can run away with the point as you don't have the intended visuals with you...

Also, you can't forget Lalo Shifrin

Tintin and Asterix - Definately some of the most fun to be had in a comic. Excellent art and terrific stories.

First off I'm a Trek fan, like a few already posted - I'm not a 'Trekkie' but I have followed most of the series. Except perhaps DS9, never really enjoyed that. Secondly, I can't stand Abrams recent films. As most people in this thread seem fans of these films, I hope I'm not treading on anyones toe...

Worth reading

If you haven't already, I can suggest picking up the following: Scarlet Traces (Edginton and D'Isreali) - Set in an alternate future past, after Mars invades earth from 'War of the Worlds'. Excellent artwork, really detailed and full of life. The story is great fun too. Hulk: The End Compelling and ...

Reminds me of Oogy Boogey from Nightmare Before Christmas. He was an awesome character.

I dont think the Clone Wars film nor the series is any good. I wanted to like both of them, as like a few of the previous posts say, the art direction is really good. Even if Genndy Tartakovsky didnt get a mention. I think the main flaw in the films and the series is that they are stories in the mid...

I don't think this remake does the story justice. The original with Heston explores the city and the mans own vacancy much better. Also, in both versions but more so with the Will Smith film, the films miss-out on emphasising that he is 'Legend' because he is the supposed to be the last man alive. T...
