The original movies were set in the '30s.

Thanks for being so gracious, Kazu. And after reading your response there a few times, I think the only real difference is a matter of personal reaction. Nobody likes a movie that reminds them unpleasantly, even slightly, of their own fear or guilt. The difference here is that I felt no such thing f...

Dangit, Kazu, how'd you manage to make me mad? I hardly ever get mad about anything, especially in matters of art, which heaven knows are terribly relative to the observer...yet you did. How? I guess it was because you were criticizing something I loved for letting you down, based on what I think ar...

But I really challenge anyone to actually have the same views as Ron Paul. He is extremely polarizing, and if anything people only adjust their views to become in line with his- because they like him so much. He doesnt beleive in evolution He wants to eliminate the federal reserve He wants to elimi...

I'm for Ron Paul, too! Though I live in Idaho, and we don't vote until way late. :(

Well, I got my copy a while ago, and...what can I say? I was disappointed. I expected more of Kazu than the standard "fantasy adventure with kids" plot. It reads almost like a computer game--it mostly consists of a succession of perils that have to be overcome, with a little Harry Potter magic-drama...

I'll have to go back and check that- it could just be issues with WCN's server, or it could be I need to go back and fix some images. Thanks for reading! Oh, and I have a shameful secret- outside of inkwashing, I don't use brushes. It's all plain old pigment liners ^_^ Ha! :D It was just a couple o...

Oh, yippee! I was actually thinking of buying a subscription sometime so I could read your comic, but never actually got around to it. *Goes to read comic.* Thanks! Girlamatic's shifting around how it works, and will be moving to a full non-subscription version soon. I moved Jeepers to the free sid...

I'd remove the balloon that seems to be coming from between the characters leg though.
It's tied to her other knee, see?

This picture is spectacular, in my humble opinion. (I'm a little less enthusiastic about the text layout, but hey--you can't have everything.)
