Thanks Seth!

I agree with you about the site. It's actually not completely done yet. Still trying to work out the archive features, and the buttons aren't how they are supposed to be yet

This is what the site is supposed to look like: http://fb.xenostarz.com/ashwara/site6.png

Ha ha, that's great to hear! Doing letting has actually been one of my greatest challenges, but my room mate gave me some good tips on it. I think I'm getting better. Here's a "pin-up" or banner I did of the main character: http://fc06.deviantart.com/fs44/f/2009/141/8/8/Bannerbanner_by_ashwara.png

New webcomic! Para-Ten, finally up

Hello everyone, I bet none of you remember me by now, but I posted here a while ago about a webcomic I had. Anyways, this is actually the same comic, which I re-wrote and am redoing and finally got a website for. Ha ha. The site isn't completely done yet but it functions! So check it out maybe! Here...

Hmm, I have a related question. If publishing independently, would it be better to go through a place like Ka-blam and comiXpress, or through some other printing press? And what about distribution? If I don't have a publisher, how do I get my comic to stores across the world? Or even just state, and...

Line Testing and other animation software/tools

Hey guys and gals, I'm just trying to find out what other people use for animation particularly for software. The school I'm at now uses Toki line test, which is really buggy and clunky. I'm hoping there is something better out there, which you guys might know about. I'm also wondering what people u...

That's true; I tend not to place much emphasis on the characters' faces, unintentionally.

Para-Ten issue 1 now available!

Also, the website is done! It has been for a while, but you can access it here: http://www.para-ten.com/index.php?action=news Anyways, I haven't posted about the comic in a while so people probably wont remember it. It's a comic I've been working on for about a year now. Here are a few random pages:...

Thanks a lot everyone! I'm happy that you guys like it.

Especially James_80 saying it's funny and sincere, since that's exactly what I wanted. I love stories that mix humor and sincerity so I try to do it myself, ha ha.

I think the main advantage of doing a script is that it enables you to, as another said, share your work with others before thumb-nailing and to revise it, as you word a normal piece of literature. The thing with my thumbnails is that they're so vague, I'm the only one who could understand them so I...

Ghosts, a short comic

I've been wanting to do some more short stories... so here's one! Ha ha. Originally I started doing it in watercolor but then I decided to do it in ink, since that was my original original intention and I got tired of mixing colours. Ha ha. http://fc01.deviantart.com/fs31/f/2008/198/0/a/Ghosts__part...

Ah, thanks for that thorough outline, Joey! Ha ha. You make good points about wanting to improvise some bits, so I think I'll take that into account too. It seems like a pretty good method; I always end up changing stuff too but hoped to direct it a little more by writing a script. Previously i just...

Scripting and writing

So I was just wondering, what's everyones method for scripting and writing for comics? For a long time, I just thought of the general outline before hand and then did the specific details of the dialog and such when I did my thumbnails. However, looking back at my chapters I realized that the dialog...

Thanks! I'm really glad you like the character designs. Anyways, yeah everything on the blog was done between one and three hours. But that's why it's a sketch blog. We post there every night so it's hard to do something every day and spend 20 hours on it. But you're right, I probably should do some...
