Some game related artwork.

I've been on a strange game playing craze (it's been a while), so I decided to do these fun, quick pieces.

I'm just curious, you mention wanted to replicate vector art by hand...but why not just create it as vector art? Programs like Illustrator or even Flash are pretty robust, and once you get over their little hang ups, they can be pretty powerful tools. Great strip by the way! Oh, hehe. I use CorelDr...

Yeah, I see your points about the line art and such. I do notice the rigidity in the lines. I dunno, I've looked into and have done pieces with pen brushes/nubs before and just didn't really like the effect it had on my characters. Maybe I wasn't doing it right, but it just didn't catch my fancy. I'...

Customer? - Short Strip

http://www.gashaponshop.net/posts/200705/20070501.jpg Here I am at it again. I'm currently coloring it and will have a rendered version of that as soon as I can. I've realized that as far as these types of strips go (refer to my last: http://www.flightcomics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10037 ), this ...

@Soggytoast: Thanks for the feedback. This was actually a gift for my friend (Jason), so that's why the main characters look like that... it's 'cause, well, we look like that. I agree my grammar does need a bit of work at times. I felt the same way about that one line you pointed out. I suppose what...

@Dresden Codak: I was at APE this year too (I had that standee of Mr. Goh, he's the large headed gentleman who was waving) and would've loved to have seen ya. Unfortunately bein' at the table all day, I could see any of the folks you ran into and rubbed elbows with. Your work is amazing. Well, we'll...

UTIOG - Under the Influence of Giants

I must say that I am a large (in heart, not physically) fan of UTIOG. They're a cross between a little Bee Gees, a little Maroon 5 (no groaning, please) and a little Jamiroquai with a sensibility of 70s disco-pop (a bit). Personally, my favorite tracks on their latest CD are: - Got Nothing - Stay Il...

Why does Alexander Shen not email me back?! Perhaps it is because he hates me? Perhaps I will track him down in the IRL and harm him! Alexander Shen will e-mail you back when his e-mail client starts working again... and when he receives an e-mail from KidNemo. Did you write me? I would never not (...

Garnet Hill - A Kind of True Story

http://www.wanderingpanda.com/temp/garnetthill.jpg This piece was thought up of a few years ago when I was pulling an all-nighter watching anime (ha) and my roommate was pulling an all-nighter "studying" (I say he was on eBay). I do pray before I eat and we came up with this idea. It's only taken m...

Wow! This is fabulous. I wish I had gashapon (capsule toys) of all of these so I could put them on my desk and ultimately become the envy of my cohorts.

...then I suspect I'd be robbed of them when I blinked.

http://www.wanderingpanda.com/gallery/colored/grimace.jpg Does anyone else remember that episode of "Clerks: The Animated Series"? I did this in Photoshop7. I'm still testing out this whole world of "digital painting". Could anyone recommend any books/tutorials for it? I have the smallest Wacom tab...

Would anyone be interested in those? http://www.wanderingpandacomics.com/mrgoh/comics/23.gif http://www.wanderingpandacomics.com/mrgoh/comics...

"Escape" - First two pages

Hi everyone! These are the first two pages to my entry for http://www.sproutcomics.com ! It's an Asian American comics anthology and thought it'd be fun to do something like this. The story is about a boy who escapes into fantasy worlds to cope with the hardships in life. He eventually grows older a...
