Re: Zita the Spacegirl and other Comics
Oh wow. The art's great of course, but your sense of humor with these things is perfect. It's genuinely funny AND reveals character at the same time. Thanks for sharing these!

Re: Cathedral + Amulet 3 preview
Loving the new art man! The airship illustration is definitely desktop-background worthy. Also, I'm excited to see where Amulet 3 takes us, the art for it looks pretty epic. Any idea yet on a tenative release date?

Re: Sketch thread
I'm floored by the ability you have at conveying emotion through your use of color and gesture. Your work certainly inspires me to try harder with my own stuff. Maybe someday, I too can be as awesome as you

Strathmore smooth finish bristol. Never had a problem inking on it as long as I let the ink dry first

Re: What inking pen to use? Nib pens?
I ink with pencil and find it gives me greater control. I've tried inking with pens, brushes, and crow quills; none quite give me the control I want. Part of that might be needing to practice more though. A lot of it comes down to user preference and the look you're after.

Can't believe nobody else has commented on this. Just wanted to say that I love the art. Your character designs have appeal and I love the comic. You're very good, keep it up

I like that you've done your research, regarding the old UFO documents and such. Interesting to hear how informal they were back then.

Re: MYTH - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Graphic Novel
Good point, man. I think my plan right now will be to finish this scene up since I've put so much work into it already. Then I'll take a look at it overall and see if another scene might be better suited for sending to agents/publishers. Thanks for the comments

Re: MYTH - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Graphic Novel
Nope, haven't sent it off to any publishers or agents yet; though I am pretty darn close. I've got probably three pages left to draw/ink/color/letter, a query letter, a one page synopsis, and some concept art to do. So yeah, getting closer. Right now I'm trying to decide whether this single scene sh...

Re: MYTH - Sci-Fi/Fantasy Graphic Novel
Hmmm...good point. I realized after the fact that the perspective was a little off in the fourth panel, I'm planning on fixing that once I get the chance. Hadn't noticed the foot contacts though. The second panel is supposed to be the two coming to a stop abruptly. But I'll look into fixing that fou...
