Yep. Full version is the standard. Elements is ok for photo amateurs, but for us illustrators and comic artist it has to be the full version. Then you will have to choose between Standard and Extended. In my experience you won't need extended, standard has everything you need if you're not planning ...

oh don't worry! Certainly competition will be hard on this contest, we have people from all over the world participating (a lot from South America btw). But as far as I see you pretty much make it! One thing I wanted to say btw: we will select 20 stories for an exhibition and athology... so not only...

I think it will be pretty cool! There's already some really great artists who have confirmed they'll be creating something for the contest... so we're all pretty exited!
Hope to see some of you here too in the contest!

There's really a lot of indy games worth checking out, not all of them are free, but most of them are really affordable... just to name a few: The Path (great experiment in turning the game genre upside down) http://tale-of-tales.com/store/images/ThePath-boxart.jpg Aquaria this is a really hard unde...

Bolzano comics 2009, Nowords comic contest

Hi everybody! It's been a while since my last post... well, I admit it it's been over a year... I guess even more. I've been pretty busy since then. I've come back to let you all know we've made something really interesting here in Italy: a contest for wordless comics, i.e. comics that do not use di...

well... I guess to quicken up things you could try to use a less photorealistic (for the shading I mean) style and try to use just a couple of tones, flat shadows (kind of like cell anim look). I also suggest you do some pencils by hand... my experience is that generally for these kind of things doi...

Peter Panz... finally a complete story to show

I've just finished (or nearly finished) this Peter Pan parody, it's called Peter Panz, and of course Panz is a pun, since Panza in Italian means big belly (like what you get from drinking too much beer). It's in Italian but I'll do my best to provide translations let me know what you think! http://w...

Highwaynauts

http://www.monipodio.net/images/stories/video/highwaynauts2.jpg This is a little short film I've made together with a friend. It's about driving in the night and feeling like flying in space. " The highway, in the night, is like outer space, black and empty, and we, the travellers, are like spacesh...

Most of the problems I had while reading this have been already pointed out by others here, I had the problem with the characters being too similar, and some parts where the dialogue is a bit chunky... nonetheless, I think the story works, and is some fun to read. But now let's get to the inking... ...
