Yeah, I do like his design. The big head makes him look clumsy. Was the whole "longing for childhood" clear. I definitly took a gamble and I hope it payed off.

I don't know. I had a few other idea for ol' Jimmy but I just didn't have time. I had one with a big wall of televisions and that he was looking at but I had trouble with the light source(im only in art one). I had another one about a comic type page with his head transforming into a t.v. through bi...

I love Chris Sanders style, the whole bag filled with water. Even the most harsh of envirments were happy and cheerful with those water color and rounded edges. The stroy was down to earth and it was convoluted with fairy princesses and magic castles. The fact Lilo was "odd" was perefect. I still la...

Hope, that picture is super fantastico. I like the facial muscels alot. I have the worst time with that, whenever I do that I make my characters look way too old.

Jimmy Jet and his T.V. set

Ive been lurking so I finally decided to show myself and post something. There is a literary and art magazine at my school so I decided to paint something to enter. I decided to something very important to me when I was little and that would be Shel Silverstein. Jimmy Jet is the sad story of the boy...

I like how cerberus is more of a pug shape, built very low to the ground. I usually see him overused in the long legged cliche olympic runner way with a dober pincher body. Here seems more forceful yet like you could still bring home to love. The cacus one is just plain creepy....::shudder::

The wierd slant in the panel fram irks me a little. Its a cool idea but it can make it ahrd to do perspective. The clouds are the other thing that look a bit off. Im not saying to make ones that look like the cliche third grade bunches of cotton but the look like more like dish towels rather than cu...
