Synecdoche, New York

To anyone who has not seen Charlie Kaufman's latest and loved his past work as much as I did & do must see Synecdoche, New York asap. I think Kaufman is a genius and I feel his latest, as out there and unconventional as it may be, is more proof to that claim.

Sad...

Sadly the creative world lost a SUPER REAL TALENTED and GENUINELY KIND person... That's rare in the real world, let alone in this industry of mostly sly smiling cut throats.

Mike you will be missed!!!!

I FELT

I felt the film was a beautifully crafted illusion. Nolan and his brother Jonathan seem to work out solid projects. It's too bad his brother wasn't more there as a writer for the Batman misstep of Begins. Even if that film was a minor misstep, this is another solid outing on his career. Nolan is wit...

A genius at work.

Monsieur Gagné is someone that I personally will never forget after having spent time with him and his lovely wife Nancy. He's a fellow artist and creator whose work I'd enjoyed and will always enjoy with wonder. He's a genuinely kind person & an artistic genius, which is rare in both senses. So wha...

Yeah well...

I agree, more answers less questions for now. They at times run into asking more then answering territory and I fear it could kill the show. Although the show has held on pretty damn good and I am more than welling to eat it up. Until the show ends, boxsets are a none issue because the ending is wha...

I finally saw this in the theatre before the Departed and it looks amazing in that size. Majorly Grand material and vibe. Even the girls were buzzing about it.

Now, is the film like the graphic novel? They are both created around each other, so what is the deal :?: Anyone :?: Is it better, worse or no point :?:

I....

I have to agree right till the last literal 5 minutes. Gondry magic is in full effect but it went limp. I think we needed a Kaufman like band-aid.

I...

I finally saw and I think it may not be as good as the original source material (film), which I have yet to see sadly, but this film was fun and Marti should stick to street level tales and stay away from Oscar ass kissing bait he can't handle and shouldn't have to. The cast made it fun and the film...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v44/johnnymercury1976/Pics%20posted%20on%20the%20net/SOS.jpg I finally was able to catch The Science of Sleep down here in purgatory and I was captivated by boy genius Michel Gondry's visuals and style until the last frick'n 5 minutes, literally. Whatever, it was s...

Half Nelson

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v44/johnnymercury1976/Pics%20posted%20on%20the%20net/HalfNelson-1.jpg I recently watched Half Nelson , with the always amazing Ryan Gosling and the believably natural newcomer Shareeka Epps, and felt it was a solid character study and a beautifully shot film.
